Born and raised in Rome Italy Daniele Truocchio is an award-winning composer, music producer, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California. A Forbes 30 Under 30 lister class of 2022, selected alongside Kabhy Lame, Måneskin, and Simone Ashley to name a few. The list, which is considered to be the world’s most impactful community of young entrepreneurs and game-changers includes innovators such as Adele, Daniel Kaluuya, LeBron James, Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, as well as the founders of companies like Dropbox, Robinhood, Spotify, Canva and Instagram.

Truocchio’s scores include “New York International Film Awards” best score main theme winner In Between, “Hamilton Black Film Festival” best feature film winner Memoirs Of A Black Girl, the seventeen-time award-winning short film The Essence of Everything which counts Best Score Soundtrack at Valle D’Itria Film Festival and Best Short Film at Etna Comics 2019, judged by Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Johnny Galecki (Big Bang Theory), Tony Bancroft (Mulan, The Lion King), and Dove Vai (in competition for the Academy of Italian Cinema David di Donatello Award).

Daniele has collaborated on over 100 episodes of mainstream television scores including Legacies (The CW), God Friended Me (CBS), Pretty Little Liars (Freeform), Roswell, New Mexico (The CW) feature films Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil and Vile (Netflix), Ghosts of War (Miscellaneous Entertainment), as well as 3 times Emmy Nominated Documentary The Weight of Success, and The Relentless One that he has recently co-scored with acclaimed composer Mike Suby.

Daniele’s music journey began at the age of 7 studying guitar and performing his first live show at the age of 10 together with his two brothers. A truly life-changing experience happened during his teenage years becoming the chosen mentee of Senegalese guitarist and composer Peace Diouf which, through intense training that lasted several years  (à la The Karate Kid), offered Daniele an open-minded understanding of world music and sounds.

He has studied classical composition and guitar at the Italian Conservatory, and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston with a minor in Africana Studies. He is a national voting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Emmys) and of The Recording Academy (Grammys). Daniele is married to Giorgia, a Food Scientist and creator of “MakEATeasy
