About

Daniele Truocchio is an award-winning film composer and music producer based in Los Angeles, originally from the suburbs of Rome, Italy. One of the few composers added to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Entertainment list—alongside Adele, Rihanna, and Måneskin—he’s known for cinematic scores that blend emotion with precision.

His recent feature work includes Break (U.S. and Canada theatrical release) and The Martial Artist (worldwide release), as well as the three-time Telly Award-winning documentary The Relentless One, co-scored with Mike Suby (The Vampire Diaries). Daniele has contributed music to over 100 episodes of network television (Legacies, Pretty Little Liars, God Friended Me) and orchestrated Netflix’s Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile starring Zac Efron. His work also includes the Emmy-nominated The Weight of Success, and award-winning films like In Between, Memoirs of a Black Girl, and The Essence of Everything.

Daniele’s music journey began at age 7 and was shaped by years of mentorship with Senegalese composer Peace Diouf, whose rigorous and culturally rich approach to music helped shape Daniele’s lifelong appreciation for global sounds. He studied classical composition and guitar at the Italian Conservatory and film scoring at Berklee College of Music with a minor in Africana Studies. He is a voting member of both the Television Academy (Emmys) and the Recording Academy (Grammys).

Giving Back

While composing remains his full-time focus, Daniele also founded Louder Confidence—a mission-driven project that delivers different programs including the Crescendo Music Program that brings college-level music education to under-resourced public schools across California. The program builds fully equipped production studios for TK–12 students and brings them into professional spaces like Bandrika and Cow on the Wall, while employing top-tier LA musicians as instructors. For Daniele, it’s about giving the next generation the same spark that once changed his own life.
