
Daniele Truocchio is a Los Angeles based film and television composer, born and raised in Rome, Italy
Daniele has collaborated on a number of mainstream film and television scores including Pool Boy (which premiered at the prestigious BFI – British Film Institute), Dove vai (in competition for Italy’s most famous film award “David di Donatello”), Memoirs of a Black Girl (featured by the Boston Globe), Legacies (The CW), The Essence of Everything (Convergent Clouds – winner of Best Score Soundtrack award), Roswell, New Mexico (The CW), God Friended Me (CBS), Pretty Little Liars – The Perfectionists (Warner Horizon Television), Six (History Channel), Ghosts of War (Miscellaneous Entertainment), Hidden Man(Warner Bros), The Snowpiercer (TNT), Beautiful in Love (Warner Bros).
He has orchestrated Dennis Smith and Marco Beltrami’s score for the movie “Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil and Vile” which premiered at Sundance 2019 and is currently available on Netflix.
Daniele’s music journey began at the age of 7 studying guitar and performing his first live show at the age of 10 together with his two brothers. A truly life-changing experience happened during his teenage years becoming the chosen mentee of Senegalese guitarist/bassist/composer Peace Diouf which, through intense training lasted several years, offered Daniele an open-minded understanding of world-music and sounds.
He has studied classical composition and guitar at the Italian Conservatory, and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston with a minor in Africana Studies.
